Clips
Within the PUSH Console there is the ability to create clips either from ingested live or uploaded video footage.
Clips can be used to:
Create Highlights of the current event, to play out as a Program or export
Create B Roll content
Create pre and post roll content for other Programs
Can be useful to insert content during stream outages
Clips can be created a viewed from the Control Room.
Create a Clip
From the Control Room, select the desired Source to create a clip from
From the Clips section, press the Create Clip button
Add a Title and Description for the clip you are creating
Set the Start and End times for the Clip, either by:
Using your Source window:
Navigate or scrub through you feed until you get to you start point of the clip you wish to create, then press the Start button
Repeat for the desired end point, then press the End button
Manually enter or adjust the Start and End times as required
Once the Clip parameters have been set:
Create
Creates the Clip you have just made and retains it in the Clips section
Export
Creates the Clip you have just made and retains it in the Clips section
Additionally allows you to email the Clip or share with a previously linked social account - see Clips | Export-or-Publish-a-Clip below
Cancel
Cancel creating the Clip and return to the Clips list
Play/Stop button

Hint when setting Start and End points
In the Source window:
Press spacebar to pause and resume video
Skip back and forward 5 seconds with the left (←) and right (→) arrow keys
Scrub back and forward by frame with the
<
and>
keys
Export or Publish a Clip
Right click the Clip then press Export / Publish
Optionally choose pre or post roll by typing the Title of a Program, Clip or uploaded video. This will render before (pre roll) or after (post roll) the selected Program
Next
Choose social accounts to publish to and/or email addresses to send a link to
Export to complete
The clip export starts and will be posted or emailed when rendering of the Clip has completed
Edit or Delete a Clip
Right click the Clip
Press Edit or Delete as required
